Company Profile

The company is run and managed by Peter Dungworth, its principle and director. Peter has an outstanding ability to make a significant contribution to the success of his clients.

As well as being a Chartered Secretary and Law graduate, Peter has a ‘lifetime’ of company secretarial experience gained in a wide range of companies, including five quoted Plcs. He was Group Secretary of Coalite Group plc which then (1989) had a capitalisation of Ł500m, over 40 operating subsidiaries (including overseas), 6,700 employees, a turnover of Ł666m, a profit of Ł48.5m and was one of the largest 120 quoted companies in the UK until its acquisition in a contested takeover.

Since starting Bradway in 1992 Peter has continuously provided a company secretarial support and advisory service to a wide range of companies. Between 1996-1999 Peter was a Personal Business Adviser with Sheffield TEC/Business Link proactively promoting local companies collaboration in commercial joint ventures. He has provided interim support to Center Parcs including maternity cover for their company secretary. He again provided maternity cover to a major subsidiary of Sun Chemical Plc, the World’s largest manufacturer of printing inks and went on to carry out several other projects. Since 1999 he has provided Halifax Plc (HBoS) with interim company secretarial support on a number of projects again including maternity cover for the company secretary of their retail division.
